How to access the Hive Platform web interface.

Accessing Hive¶

Your Hive URL¶

Your Hive instance URL will be provided during onboarding. Bookmark it for quick access.

Step 1: Navigate to Hive¶

Open your web browser
Navigate to your Hive instance URL
You'll see the login screen

Step 2: Enter Credentials¶

Email/Password Login: 1. Enter your email address 2. Enter your password 3. Click Sign In

SSO Login (Enterprise): 1. Click Sign in with SSO 2. Enter your organization domain 3. Authenticate with your identity provider

Step 3: Multi-Factor Authentication¶

If MFA is enabled: 1. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app 2. Or approve the push notification 3. Click Verify

Troubleshooting Access¶

Can't Access URL¶

Verify the URL is correct and your internet connection is working. If using a corporate network, ensure VPN is connected if required.

Verify your credentials are correct. If locked out after multiple attempts, contact your administrator.

Password Reset¶

Click Forgot Password? on the login screen, enter your email, and follow the link sent to you.

MFA Issues¶

If you've lost access to your authenticator, use backup codes or contact your administrator for an MFA reset.

Browser Compatibility¶

Supported: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge (latest versions)
Required: JavaScript and cookies enabled

Network Requirements¶

Ensure your firewall allows HTTPS (port 443) to your Hive instance. If behind a corporate proxy, configure it in your browser settings.

Security Best Practices¶

✅ Use strong passwords and enable MFA
✅ Log out on shared computers
✅ Never share credentials
✅ Keep your browser updated

Session Management¶

Sessions expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. Use "Remember me" only on trusted devices.

Mobile Access¶

Hive works on mobile browsers (iOS Safari, Chrome, Firefox). Some features are optimized for desktop use.
